Erin Griffin Shares Her Vision for Revitalizing the Dakota Language with Indian Country Today

Revitalizing any language is challenging, but Erin Griffin (Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate), a program officer in Indigenous Education with the American Indian College Fund, is taking it on. Erin received a 2022 Bush Fellowship and is finishing a doctoral degree in Indigenous language and culture revitalization while studying the Dakota language.
